Hello… my name is Owen. I have been licensed since 2018. I completed my undergrad work at Castleton State University and a master’s in psychology from the University of Phoenix and a master’s in counseling from Argosy University. The beginning of my career was focused on recovery work, completing my CSAC and working for Phoenix House and North Spring Behavioral Healthcare. I have been focusing my more recent clinical work on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approaches, as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Solutions Focused approaches. I have recently had the pleasure of constructing and licensing an ACT team, using the hospital without walls model in my home town in upstate NY. I like challenges. While working for Discovery Behavioral Health, I have further improved utilization of DBT and ACT approaches in the treatment of adolescents and families. I have more recently been successful in helping several residents pass their exam for licensure, which was a rewarding experience. I have been hosting group supervision and look forward to doing this more in the future. When I am not working, I enjoy running, painting, cooking, working on cars, going to Caps games (Go CAPS!), concerts and getting out into the community. On a personal note, I love this work and generally have a can-do attitude, so if help is needed, I am willing to pitch in.

Hello! My name is Christina Chen. I am a Resident in counseling working towards full licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have Bachelors in Bible and Social Work from Cairn University. I also hold a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliance Graduate School of counseling otherwise known as Nyack College. I recently moved from New Jersey to Virginia.
Prior to becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist I worked as a social worker in an adult day care setting. What made me go into Marriage and Family Therapy was my passion to help couples build healthy relationships and help families work through some of the toughest issues. I have been privileged with a wide range of clinical experience with doing premarital counseling, couples therapy, family counseling, and Individual counseling dealing with a wide range of issues from self esteem, anxiety, grief, depression, and addiction. I have experience leading group therapy with substance abuse in an outpatient setting.
Prior to coming to Youth for Tomorrow I worked in a residential setting working with eating disorder adolescents. Much of my clinical work has been using Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Act therapy (ACT) mostly in a substance abuse group and eating disorder setting. I also strive to be solution oriented. Although, I don’t cling to any theory and I am open to see wherever fits the client. I am a person centered therapist who hopes to as a therapist provide a space of healing and comfort to my clients. I also hope to provide hope and inspiration to people who wrestle with many tough battles in life. Outside of my work, I enjoy cooking, singing, dancing, and watching Asian dramas.

Hi! My name is Audrey Gregoire and I am a Supervisee in Social Work completing my hours towards independent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have my Bachelors in Social Work from Liberty University and my Masters in Social Work from Fort Hays State University.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a social worker for a Department of Social Services working in the Foster Care unit with foster children, foster families, and biological families seeking reunification. Afterwards, I worked at a Community Services Board with the Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities unit while providing services to individuals with disabilities and their families.
I started my experience in a therapist role during my master’s level practicum and have worked with a variety of client needs and issues since then which include: anxiety, anger management, self-esteem, depression, trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder, family conflict, communication issues, and more. I have worked with children, adolescents, teens, and adults. I am passionate about helping each client see and work towards their potential for growth and healing in whatever form that looks like per individual. My goal as a therapist is to empower individuals to cultivate self-awareness, develop coping strategies, and foster meaningful connections, ultimately guiding them toward a more fulfilling life. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches that is tailored to each individual client that include: cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, person-centered, play therapy, and more.
I can provide Christian counseling for those who request it.
When I am not working I enjoy spending my free time with loved ones, playing board and card games, reading, baking, and various forms of exercise.
