Our Program
Education Edward D. Tabish YFT students attend a fully accredited year round secondary school. Our school offers instruction in all core courses, GED instruction, Advance Placement Biology and United States History along with electives in Art, Music, Education for Employment, Computer Technology, Life Skills, Comparative Religions, Animal Care, Culinary Arts, Landscape Design, Reading, and Service Learning. Students have the opportunity to earn their high school diploma at Youth For Tomorrow. Other important facts about our academic program include:
The YFT Scholarship Award Graduates of Youth For Tomorrow's accredited secondary school may apply for an annual tuition scholarship (The Dr. Gary L. Jones Scholarship) up to $10,000 per year at the college/university or proprietary institution of the student's choice. Scholarships may also apply for an apprenticeship or a trade school. YFT graduates are currently attending several colleges including Old Dominion, George Mason, VCU, Waynesboro (PA), Trinity University (Wash. DC), NOVA, Potomac State (WV), Charleston Southern and Virginia State.
