What We Do

An increasing number of adolescents are at risk of failure to society and to themselves.

The roots of this risk exist in circumstances that may include a dysfunctional family, an internal chemical imbalance and/or a learning disability.

These are not of a child’s creation.

Allowed to grow unchecked, however, they may lead to

  • academic failure
  • drug abuse
  • unwanted pregnancy
  • delinquency
  • uncontrolled anger

The resulting impact of these risk factors can be severe and adversely affect the
child’s family, peers, school community and society as a whole.

Numerous studies and broad experience have shown that an effective approach for
improving a young person’s life is to at once reduce the risk factors and increase
the protective factors in all elements of that life.  To do so may involve placing the
child in a loving and supportive community, balancing his/her chemical needs, and
providing intensive counseling, a rigorous academic program and exposure to Godly
principles.

This approach is the principle upon which Youth For Tomorrow was founded in 1986
and by which it continues to operate today.  We help at risk youth become
responsible members of society by providing a rigorous education, nurturing
residential youth homes and comprehensive counseling  in a safe, healthy and intellectually
stimulating environment.

We strive to endow each child with the self discipline, intellectual motivation, personal decorum and Godly principles that will contribute to positive behavior in an everlasting manner.
