Process Group
.  This is a group that is topical by design.  The group, or the staff, may bring up an issue.  Residents are also required to prepare and present an autobiography.
The goal is to target issues the residents are dealing with while encouraging positive feedback and support for each group member—a method that encourages disclosure and
builds strength within this small group.

Individual.
One-on-one therapy session(s) between the resident and a counseling staff member.  The goal is to give more personal attention to the resident’s issues, and to refocus him or her back to the group process.

Family Group Therapy.
This is comprised of parents/guardians and their child one week and the adults only the following week.  This rotation is usually followed with exceptions made depending on topics.  The goal is to allow community dialogue between families so as to dismantle the thinking that “our family is the only one with these struggles.”

Individual Family.
Individual family sessions involve the resident, his/her parents and/or guardian and his/her assigned therapist.  The goal is to target issue specific problems of the resident and family unit as a whole and refocus them back to the Family Group.

Chemical Education Class.
The purpose is to educate residents about the dangers and risks of drugs, alcohol and smoking.

Overcomers’ Group.
The purpose is to work through the twelve-step process, discuss chemical dependency issues, see how chemicals have had a destructive impact on their lives, and discover what recovery is, and how to stay in recovery.

A.A./N.A.
This is a self-run support group held on campus.
